William Cruz is a published author, playwright, and creative visionary best known for his hauntingly powerful work Find Me Alive and the Boonoonoonooz cartoons version for  "THE FIND ME ALIVE FOR CHILDREN" — a gripping story that bridges reality and fiction to raise awareness about missing persons and the silent cries that often go unheard. k-12.

Born in New York City, Cruz developed an early passion for storytelling, art, and human connection. His writing blends emotional realism with social purpose, reflecting his deep commitment to truth, survival, and empathy. As both a writer and painter, he explores themes of hope, loss, and redemption through multiple forms of expression — from literature and stage to visual art and community outreach.

Cruz’s Find Me Alive began as a thought-provoking play, later expanding into a published book that delivers both suspense and social impact.
